Advanced DI Meeting & Coming Soon
Our agency just returned from Berkshire Life's Advanced Disability Insurance Meeting which was held at the Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico. When I say our agency attended, we had 11 people attend this DI meeting this year from Guardian DI Brokerage. Hopefully next year we'll increase that number to include even more of our brokers. It really is one of the best DI meetings there is. All the top disability insurance producers in the country attend this meeting for Guardian, regardless of their company affiliation. To qualify you need to be a member of Guardian's "Inner Circle" for disability insurance. Next year we're going to Boston, and the year after will be at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, FL. Production in 2009 will count towards the Advanced DI Meeting in 2010 in Florida.
The meetings themselves are always very good, along with the awards dinner/dancing, but the best part of these meetings are the people. The very top DI producers in the country are all in attendance, and very willing to talk to everybody about what they do. This year Guardian Disability Insurance Brokerage took advantage of every moment to sit down and film most of the top 10 DI producers in the country. We've just finished downloading over 35 hours of footage, and are now editing all of it together to share with all of you.
Our goal is to expand what every agent believes is possible when it comes to disability insurance. We asked each of the agents to share with us everything they do now, what they did in the past, what worked, what didn't, etc... Having watched all the footage during the downloads, we think all of you will enjoy the final products very much. We have Dr. Eric Studley, Robert Kaplan, Butch Cohen, Jeffrey Benowitz, Larry Keller, Scott Dial on QSPP, Chau Lai, David Washkoviac, and much more.
One of the key's to success in this business is to copy what is working for somebody else, and implement it in your practice. The people mentioned above combined have well over $15,000,000 of individual disability insurance in-force right now.
